Chennai: Gleneagles Hospital Chennai, a part of the Fortis Healthcare Network hosted Thulir - New Beginnings, a heartwarming meet celebrating cancer survivor and their indomitable spirit, the exclusive event saw the gathering of around 100 survivors shared their motivational stories of victory and their plans for a brighter tomorrow.
Ms E Rajeshwari, Deputy Director of Agriculture / PA to the Collector (Agri) Chengalpattu a cancer survivor Inaugurated the event in the presence of Ms S Niranjini, COO & Hospital Head, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai and Dr Balaji Ramani, Director, Gleneagles Institute of Oncology.
The event served as a platform for the cancer survivors to share their inspiring journeys of courage and recovery, while also spreading awareness about the importance of early detection, timely treatment and holistic cancer care. Survivors spoke about their personal battles with cancer and how medical support, emotional strength and family encouragement helped them overcome the disease.
This event marks the unrelenting commitment of the Gleneagles Cancer Institute to supporting cancer survivors through holistic care and community.
